As a soloist and concertist, Yi-Ping Yang presents works from the contemporary repertoire as major existing works. She is also interested in timpani and percussion concertos. Yi-Ping Yang also creates numerous creations in collaboration with living composers. Her recitals are innovative, mixing new technologies with her performances. She is also known for her performances mixing Voice and Sound Poetry.
Laboratories, interdisciplinary meetings, co-authorships, exchanges, multiple experiences… are at the heart of the collective research that Yi-Ping Yang animates to get out of the boxes assigned to each one.
